This month we will (finally) kick-off\u00a0the Alien Invasion project.<\/p>\n

Code Repository<\/h2>\n

To work on the code, begin by forking the repo<\/a> and checking it out to your local machine.<\/p>\n

If your are not\u00a0familiar with GIT there are some excellent resources at the GIT\u00a0documentation<\/a>\u00a0pages, GitHub<\/a> and\u00a0\u00a0a number of courses at Code School<\/a>.<\/p>\n

  • Definition of initial goals\u00a0<\/strong>– Where to begin and where do we want to go?<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Code review – <\/strong>It would be useful to familiarise yourself with the code before the meeting.<\/li>\n
  • Characterisation tests<\/strong> – Can \\ should we wrap the existing code in tests to avoid regressions?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
